Temporary Hiatus

Hi guys, Michelle here! I'll be taking a temporary hiatus from book blogging, because I have my thesis and finals to worry about. I will be back in March, when I am certain that I will be marching for graduation, yay!

Nicole, I think, is taking a two week hiatus too because of her thesis, so there won't be any posts for a short while.

We'll be back soon, and do wish us luck! :)

Blog Announcement: Hiatus Until the 18th

Hey guys, if you've noticed our lack of posts and comments, you can blame our stressful schoolwork for that. We're having our finals, so we've decided to be on hiatus until March 18, 2013. We've tried to keep the blog up and running during this stressful time, but despite our efforts, we're unable to keep up, and we don't want to give you guys half-baked reviews. By then, we'll be resuming our posts and regular updates again.

Hope you guys understand the pressure we're under. (Straight nights of no sleep for us, boo!)

Love,
Michelle and Nicole

Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays!

Hey guys,

It's that wonderful time of the year again where family and friends gather around and toast to the celebrations. As we are busy preparing for tonight and tomorrow, today's scheduled review is cancelled. We will resume our normal schedule come Wednesday, December 26, 2012. We sincerely hope that you guys have a rockin' Christmas (or other religious festivities, to be politically correct), and that nobody fights over the last slice of ham. Kidding aside, we do wish that everyone has wonderful, wonderful days ahead.

Happy holidays!

Love,
The Twins Read

Blog Announcement: Winners of the Holiday + 50 Followers Giveaways

This month's giveaways have been quite crazy.

First, there were the scheduled holiday giveaways, then we reached 50 followers on Networked Blogs, so of course we had to have another giveaway! We'd like to thank everyone who participated in the giveaways. (If we only could, we would give each and every one a copy.) We are quite apologetic if you guys would have wanted us to announce the winners sooner, but we had to go through each and every entry to make sure they were valid.

This is probably the post that a lot of people have been looking forward to for this week, and so without further ado, here are the winners.

Winners will be notified via e-mail and Twitter and only have 48 hours from the time of announcement to respond with their shipping addresses.

The Twins Read Blog is A Month Old!

It's been a month since the blog finally launched online last October 20, 2012, and it's been an amazing month. As of this time of writing, the site has garnered a total of 4, 278 pageviews and 726 visitors from all over the globe. Our fellow local Filipino book bloggers have been so supportive and accepting as well, and we are really proud to be part of the community. We also want to thank the people who have continuously supported us, and that includes you, the readers.

Our lives pre-TTR didn't have much of a purpose. We'd go about our daily routines like automated robots, and we'd always wonder how people were so perky about stuff, and now we can say that we understand it. Setting up and continuing the blog has, of course, meant more work for us, but with every comment, every Like, every follower, and every Tweet, we don't mind the late nights, and the self-sacrifices we've made and are still making to keep the blog updated. Every seemingly 'little' thing you guys do puts a smile on our faces, and we want to thank each and every one of you for that.

With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that we will be having a giveaway in a few weeks, and it will be open internationally and locally. In fact, we plan on making ALL future giveaways open to everyone!

We hope that the The Twins Read blog has affected your life in a positive way as much as it has affected ours.

Yours sincerely,
The Twins Read
